Corporate MarriageUpdated at Oct 10, 2026, 08:47
The story is set in a high-stakes competitive environment of a big corporate firm in which two rival Vivian and Julian have spent years battling it out for the same position, Vivian and Julian are rivalry contenders for the Senior Vice President job and both imagine it would be them who will occupy it. Then a huge curveball: because of a high-stakes merger in the offing with a group of traditionalist investors, the board decides that a married manager must fill the position in order to communicate stability and a long-term outlook. The promotion is delayed, and the job goes to the first of the two rivals to bring in a marriage license. Not willing to give the office to one another, Vivian and Julian strike a cynical, deeply strategic bargain, a three-month pretentious marriage bound by an ironclad prenuptial agreement, no intimacy under the roof, and an official divorce after three months. As they play out their obligatory public engagements, tense corporate meetings, and tiny space within their ridiculous scheme, the line between their mutual hate and undeniable chemistry becomes increasingly blurry. The Main Characters Female lead: Vivian Bright, aggressive, detail-oriented, and highly competitive. Having worked egregiously long hours and simplified complex supply chains for years to reach the top, she is perfectly comfortable being at the apex. Her overwhelming drive to be in control and total inability to accept failure. She believes in logic and meritocracy, therefore the Board's old fashioned husband rule is an in insult to her career that is long standing. She considers Julian a thorn in her side a competitive peer equal in capability who works her with equal zeal, but in a devilish way. Male Lead: Julian Vance Observant, obsessive and self confident. Confident to the point of having his own personal armor of such, he has the mind and professionalism that rivals Vivian's own. His arrogance covers a stubborn heart that will never admit defeat when facing someone as brilliant as Vivian. He plays their rivalry out as a game of high-stakes chess with a perverse delight in pissing Vivian off as he watches her chase her impossible dream.
