this novel is about a girl who’s from a middle class family‚ her family believes that at the age of 18 when a girl finishes highschool she’s supposed to marry into a well off family‚ yes her parents are old schooled and still believe in that .and by that i mean she doesn’t get to choose the guy herself but her parents will choose the guy she’ll spend the rest of her life with and she has no say in that .her parents one day sat her down and broke the news to her and she wasn’t shocked about it cause her parents made it clear for as long as she can remember that the minute she finishes highschool she has to get married to the guy of her parents’ choice .but what she didn’t know is that the guy can be a bit older than her or maybe way older than her and that bothered her but she didn’t dare ask her parents how old will the guy be .in order to convince her to agree to the marriage‚ her parents lied about “if you marry the guy he will spare our lives cause he has threatened to destroy our home and i’m sure you don’t want your siblings to suffer because of you right ?” whereas the guy has already given them huge sums of money to get married to their daughter and they agreed in greed not even checking if the guy is a good guy or what because they cared about the wellbeing of the other siblings and not her cause she’s the least loved sibling and daughter in their house .their greed led them to sell their daughter in exchange of money and a good life and they came up with a sob story to convince their daughter knowing very well she will be touched if they mention that the guy wants to kill them or destroy their homes .unknowingly‚ the girl caught the eye of a rich guy in her school and she wasn’t aware of that and paid no heed to him because she was troubled by this marriage her parents brought up to her .somewhere and somehow they fell in love but just couldn’t be together due to the marriage approaching and the girl was taken away by her rich husband . but before that they vowed to make it through whatever comes their way and they had faith that their love will prosper and that fate will bring them back together somehow but for now they let destiny play it’s part because they had faith in each other .
