The Lighthouse Keeper's SecretUpdated at Jul 31, 2025, 09:42
Fleeing a life in London and a relationship that belittled her passion as a mere "quirky hobby," architectural historian Elara Vance heads for the remote Cornish coast. Her mission is to save the magnificent and terrifying Blackwood Point Lighthouse , a project that represents a last chance to prove her life's work is more than just a phase.
But the coast, and the lighthouse's keeper, are as unwelcoming as the violent storm battering the cliffs. At the door of a stone cottage huddled against the rocks , she is met by Liam Cormac—a tall, formidable man with eyes the color of the storm-tossed sea. He denies their appointment, tells her she isn't welcome, and tries to shut the door on her.
Armed with a legally binding contract and a will hardened by desperation, Elara forces her way in, wedging her boot in the door. Now trapped with the hostile keeper in the heart of the storm, she must not only survey the historic structure but also navigate the man who guards it so fiercely. As the wind screams and the waves crash outside, Elara realizes the lighthouse may not be the only thing with a crumbling foundation. Cormac is clearly hiding something, and in this isolated place, his secrets could be as dangerous as the sea itself.
