For years, Ren, a rare, silver-haired Nine-Tailed Kitsune, believed he was destined to walk the mortal world in total isolation—the last of his mythical kind. That illusion is shattered when a fated, soulbound connection locks down his foundation with Pax, a rugged alpha timber wolf shifter. Together, they establish a hidden valley sanctuary, an unbreakable cornerstone meant to protect the supernatural survivors being hunted by the outside world. More to his surprise he learns he has nine mates in total and now it is his quest to find them all.

Hello my name is Millie Jones. I have brown hair and dull grey eyes. I am 5’7 and perfectly average. In fact everything about me is average from my perfect C grades to my ideal physical abilities. If anyone at all really looked they might have figured out that I was too average but no one ever did. I am also the most hated person in my high school. Now you might ask yourself why? What heinous crime did I do to earn that? Did I kill someone or maybe endanger the pack? No my crime is being ugly, weak and unable to fight back. Did I mention I am mute? That’s right I can’t talk. Millie the mute mutt, that is what they all call me when using me for a punching bag. This is my life as sad as it may seem. Want to know a little secret? My whole life is nothing but a lie. That’s right a lie and soon all will be revealed.
