Writing has always been a passion of mine. Fiction has always been my genre. I’m exploring different “worlds” right now.
I love hearing constructive feedback and constructive criticism on my work.
Amelia Davenport died alone at the bottom of an embankment when her car was pushed off the road while she was trying to avoid a previous accident.
Her husband, annoyed that she had forgotten to get something for their two children, 20-year-old twins, Alex and Anna, before the family went to the Founder's Day fireworks together, hangs up when she calls him for help.
Amelia's spirit watches as her family starts by wondering where she has gone, and if she was simply angry at having been sent on this errand.
She watches as her siblings join with her husband and children to declare Amelia missing, and then watches as they realize, Amelia didn't leave. Amelia is missing.
Interspersed are memories of Amelia's life, from marriage to her husband Matthew, the introduction of one of Matthew's childhood friends, the birth of Matthew and Amelia's twins, their childhood and teenage years, all the way up to the family learning the tragic truth of Amelia's disappearance. Throughout her marriage, Amelia slowly found herself pushed off more and more to the side, left in the background.
Will the family realize what they've lost when they learn the truth of Amelia's disappearance? Or will they continue on as they had, with Amelia barely more than a thought?
Samantha's life had never been easy. Her abusive father was the only family she had left. Her mom had died when Sam was just a kid, and when she was ten, Sam had been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. The healthcare costs enraged her father and made a tough situation that much more difficult.
Until, one night, Sam has had enough of the abuse and runs out into a rainstorm to escape her father's wrath.
Scaling a fence in the ravine, Sam lands in the backyard of a large house. As she gets caught between the owner of the house catching her in his yard, and the screaming monster in the woods, Sam's life is about to change.
