Amelia Davenport died alone at the bottom of an embankment when her car was pushed off the road while she was trying to avoid a previous accident. Her husband, annoyed that she had forgotten to get something for their two children, 20-year-old twins, Alex and Anna, before the family went to the Founder's Day fireworks together, hangs up when she calls him for help. Throughout her marriage, Amelia slowly found herself pushed off more and more to the side, left in the background.
