Bound by Shadows will be the first book in the Darkness Series. It follows the story of Ava, a young woman with unique abilities that allow her to manipulate shadows. Ava has spent most of her life hiding her abilities, but when she meets a group of people with similar gifts, she realizes that she is not alone. As Ava becomes more involved with the group, she discovers that they are part of a larger organization called the Shadow Alliance, which is dedicated to protecting the world from supernatural threats. Ava joins the Shadow Alliance and begins training to become a warrior. However, Ava soon realizes that there are darker forces at play. A group of powerful and dangerous beings known as the Immortals are on the hunt for a powerful artifact called the Shadow Codex, which could give them control over the Shadow Realm. As Ava and the Shadow Alliance race to stop the Immortals from obtaining the Codex, Ava must also confront her own past and learn to trust her new friends if they have any hope of saving the world.
