Lilly Daniels is heartbroken and lost in Shibuya, Tokyo. She had just caught her fiancé cheating on her with her lifelong best friend two weeks before their wedding. Wandering around at midnight to escape the melancholy in her heart, she stumbles into the wrong dark alley, ending up in the middle of a shootout between the notorious Yakuza Lord's heir Ren Kiyoshi and his estranged step brother Kaito Kiyoshi. One of five other brothers from different mothers who are all vying for the throne of their father. Ren Kiyoshi got his chance to end his stepbrother once and for all, but when the opportunity is interrupted by the guileless blonde American who wandered into the dark alley at the wrong moment, his stepbrother uses her to escape him and he is beyond mad at himself for losing his chance. After he confirms Lilly wasn't a spy his stepbrother planted into the situation, he realises that her life is now in danger because Kaito would surely look for her to neutralise her for witnessing what she witnessed. Ren wants nothing to do with Lilly Daniels, he would like to send her on her way and not care what happens to her when his stepbrother gets his hands on her.But he finds himself unable to. There was something about the blonde haired blue eyed American that made him want to keep her safe. At first, it was just pure lust. Then it blossomed into something more. Something that terrified Ren and invigorated Lilly who was just accepting her new life with him. But Ren becomes cold after a few nights of passion, withdrawing from her. This pushes Lilly into leaving the safety of his fortress, she falls into the hands of Kaito Kiyoshi who had been looking for his chance to get her immediately.
