The book is about two villages located in unnamed country, mostly western. One is poor, the other is wealthy. There are several myths sorrounding the situation and their origin. The wealthier side does not like their other side. In fact, they don't greet let alone intermarrying. A young man rises from the poor side, he fights all could to bring unity. He faces challenges with his endeavor. It all starts with his undying love for a girl they grew up with. She was supposed to be her sister although they are not related by blood. Her mother does not like the relationship and does all she could to stop it. But their love grows till they marry. He ends up uniting the two sides to even share their wealth.
