The history of Indonesian independence cannot be separated from the role of youth. Initially, the movement was started by a group of STOVIA students who formed Budi Utomo on May 20, 1908. This triggered the emergence of other youth organizations which were then followed by the Youth Pledge on October 28, 1928. The youths continued to carry out movements to fight the invaders. . At its peak, the youths kidnapped Sukarno Hatta which gave birth to the proclamation of independence on August 17, 1945. 76 years have passed, youth are now facing different problems. At the Village Cultural Congress, discussions emerged on how to get youth to participate in village development. Young people are expected to be the engine of change because they have enthusiasm, are quick to learn new things, and have energy.
