I began reading at a young age. Growing up, I never had a talent. Or, at least, I thought I didn’t. I couldn’t sing, or draw, or even play a sport. I kind of felt useless. I had a writing assignment one day for class. I wrote about a pet tornado, named Bob. I got “Best Story of the Year” out of the entire student body and “Most Entertaining Story” out of my entire sixth grade class. I was writing ever since. I felt like I had finally found my purpose. I’m hoping you all feel the same way.
In Lynnderson City, you can either make it or break it in life and the only way to make it is to get out. Saint June is stuck between her past, present, and future. The only thing holding her back is her birthplace, Trent. Well, that and of course, that one persona that tugs at her heart's strings. Adik Hinton. Need not forget, the one and only, Malikhi Serrano, who has the ability to break her down little by little.
The way of life is drugs. Something that Serrano just so happens to be supplied to every cracked-out fend in town. One, of which, includes none other than Shannon Whitley. Saint June's mother.
