The Tentacles of Love is the journey of a young man who comes from a bucolic hamlet in the Far East, and gradually journeys to outgrow his own dreams and aspirations. Set in modern day Bhutan, the book is a semi-first-hand narrative of a young school boy who like, any local-boy-next-door, dreams of conjuring magic through small daily acts of life like writing love letters to his secret girl or simply getting a kick out of a mere class-bunking act. Though written in the simplest of forms and technique. the story, as it unfolds, tends to weave a soulful narrative out of the ordinary and gives it a new lease of life through the author's personal accounts and sudden spurs of imagination that would instantly strike a chord with any reader or, for that matter, book lover.
