The siren princess, Anahi, is destined to assume the throne after the death of her father, Melik. Her mother died during childbirth. Before she can be sworn in as queen, she is out people watching when an unexpected storm hits. Narrowly escaping death, the storm carries her off to an icy terrain. She is washed ashore, weak, battered, and bruised. There she is found, in her human form, by a prince and his company. The prince takes her back to his home and vows to help her find her way home. There she is introduced to Eirik’s betrothed, an evilly beautiful girl, and mage apprentice, Sigrid. The king’s advisor Fritjof, a mage and Sigrid’s father, finds out what the Ana is and devises a plan to capture and kill her for her blood and its magical properties. He enlists Sigrid to help him capture and kill Anahi. Sigrid, who already feared Ana would steal Eirik, and her chance of the throne, obliges. Together, Fritjof and Sigrid devise sinister plans to get to Ana, and even more sinister plans to use her blood for evil. The whole time Eirik has no idea about Ana’s true identity as siren Princess Anahi, or Fritjof’s and Sigrid’s evil plans. Throughout their journey to Ana's home land they encounter perilous traps that Fritjof and Sigrid have set in an effort to capture Ana without detection from Eirik. The tribulations only bring Eirik and Ana closer together, but will she manage to make it back to her kingdom alive?
