Seeing youUpdated at Feb 1, 2021, 15:44
Olive has seen a lot and done a lot.
Recently, she moved to Oaksville, and got herself a job as an Optical dispenser at Jen’s Eyecare- the local optometrist. Olive likes her new simple & safe life which includes her early morning runs and Sundays at Al’s for his ginger ale.
One particular day at work, was a busy day- lots of patients having their eye’s tested and buying glasses. But the last patient, was different. He was a new patient. His name was Caleb Whitefield and he was delicious. Tall, slim, tight low jeans with a vintage band shirt on. He had tattoos on both arms and around his neck, and it was hard to determine what they were and what they meant. He had a beautiful face that was frame with vintage style black rimmed glasses. He had piercing blue eyes and a cheeky smile.
After he had seen the optometrist, it was my job to assist him with choosing some glasses and taking measurements. He sat down in front of me and our eyes were at level. His eyes were intriguing. They were a mixture of blues- the deepest blue of the ocean to the the lightest blue of the sky before dusk. I knew I was taking too long, but I was just too mesmerised by his eyes. All too soon, Caleb blew out air as a sign of embarrassment... I was taking too long. After finalising his payment, and double checking his contact details. Caleb left the practice.
Those eyes! I knew We’d see each other again...
