If I Ruled The World
Updated at Feb 9, 2026, 17:48
In my quiet moments I often think about the corruption, violence and crime that’s happening around us every day. I have my own thoughts about how I would deal with this situation. I’m also guilty of asking the question: “Where is God and why does he allow these bad things to happen?” That’s when I start fantasizing about having just a small portion of God’s power to punish the guilty. Starting with Adam and Eve. But then I am reminded of the verse in the Bible that says, “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God”, and I realize that I am also guilty of contributing to the downfall of man. Therefore I am also in need of a Savior. That is why I’ve composed this book, as a result of my fantasy. I’ve also included poems which show the character of a powerful and loving God. I end with, "The Jerusalem Times" a modern detailed version of the story of redemption; beginning with the war that started in heaven by Lucifer and his clan who were evicted from Heaven. The plan of redemption was devised long before God created man. I am so blessed for this plan that was executed just for me.

While this novel is a work of fiction, its exploration of artistic inspiration and the complexities of idealized love draws upon a rich tapestry of thought and artistic expression. The following are not direct sources for this specific narrative, but represent broader thematic explorations that resonate with Eliza's journey: Works on the Romantic poets and their concept of the muse. Biographies of artists who struggled with external pressures and found their own unique voices. Philosophical texts discussing authenticity, self-discovery, and the nature of inspiration.
