Arsik sailed the seas of the Trident Empire for many years before deciding to settle down on the island of Sarathorn and never set foot on a ship again. But life on land proves just as dangerous as his life at sea: the island is home to vicious pirates and cunning thieves, and a mysterious jungle spreads beyond its city’s houses, its ancient secrets calling to him.
After losing a game of dice and picking a fight with the wrong man, Arsik finds himself in a desperate race to save his life. But fate isn’t done with him yet, and the man who vowed not to die at sea all those years ago must now set off on one final voyage.
A voyage into dangerous waters, where evil lurks, and love awaits. A voyage full of danger and magic, that will either destroy him or save his soul.
