David Sol is an orphan living on Earth during the 27th century that does not even possess an Ability. One day, he is unexpectedly transformed into a Vampire by a mysterious book, and is given a System to grow his powers. Because he is 16 years old, he is conscripted to the mandatory 2 years long military service imposed to all Humans, and therefore attends military school. Meanwhile, the extraterrestrial Dalki menace still threatens humanity as small skirmishes announce a return of the hostilities.
