Aurora is fired after spilling hot coffee on Katherine, Damien Whitmore’s girlfriend. She finds work at Damien’s company unknown to the both of them. But for some reason Damien can’t seem to fire her, Damien breaks up with Katherine because she cheated on him. Aurora and Damien develop a strong bond due to their same friend circle, they find themselves always together which makes it harder for them to ignore their feelings and lead to a romantic relationship. However, their happiness is threatened by Katherine's relentless attempts to sabotage their relationship and win Damien. Katherine seeks revenge by forwarding Aurora’s CV to a job in Los Angeles, to strain their relationship but it doesn’t work because Aurora declines. Katherine manages to drug Damien just as Aurora finds them in a compromising position in bed, Katherine confesses to her how their relationship started as a bet on how fast she could lose her virginity to him. Heartbroken Aurora accepts the job and books the first flight to Los Angeles, her life takes a dramatic turn when she discovers she's pregnant with twins for Damien. Tragedy strikes when she loses one of her twins, but she finds solace in her friendship with her neighbor and coworker, Mira, and her boss, Jason, who becomes a potential love interest.
