Lara was born in Makoko village, a small town in yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria into an average family. Her mother died immediately after her birth making her not having the love and special care of a mother. Her father blamed her for the death of his lovely wife and so did not want anything to do with Lara. You killed my lovely wife, Lara's father sometimes accuses her whenever ever he comes home drunk. Lara's father took drinking as a life style after the death of his wife. Lara could not afford to go to school as other children in her community because her father did not care about her educational needs. This made Lara to roam about the community until a day came that she met someone that will change her life forever.
