Alice is a nursing student along with the male protagonist, Reed. Both of them are smart so they hung out a lot, studying or just basically going out as friends. However, little does Reed know, each moment is cherished by Alice since she’s drawn to him. It’s ridiculous enough to be treated as a friend by the guy you adore, but what’s worst is that you’re too comfortable with each other that he tells you easily about the hookups he had with girls, doubling the pain you have for not being noticed by the guy you adore too much. Alice was so sick of this, for not being able to move forward because he’s always around and for refusing to back away from him because she’s gone too comfortable to not moving on where she is. But she did limit herself. Reed was bound to move out of the nursing dormitory anyway so she’d have some time to get over him once he’s no longer living next door. She was settled with just lowkey liking him, and lowkey paying the price for silently liking him. Each night he’s with other girls, and each time he’s still with other girls even if he’s with her. Alice just got used to it. It’s something out of normalcy. She swore to herself to never ever let Reed know about her feelings to not give him the privilege of hurting a highly dignified woman like herself. However, she lost all of her composure when she caught Reed having sex inside her house where he’s badly intoxicated and apparently went inside the wrong room. Crying all of the love she had persevered, she came across the famous playboy, the same person that was just like Reed, only that it’s in the Legal management department. Jake was so drawn to Alice, and she wanted to hook up with her that night and they almost did but Alice ditched her in the middle of their session while he was taking a shower. Jake has gone frustrated for having been ditched for the first time in his life, and he thought it was just a mere trample on his ego. But the more Alice pushes him away, the more drawn he becomes. Suddenly, she feels something so serious towards Alice, and Alice is slightly loving the attention and the effort that Jake takes up just to be noticed by her grace. Reed noticed what was happening and felt the distance that Alice built towards him, and now that he’s lost her and she’s happy in another’s arms, he finally realized how badly whipped he is for her.
