Still Winds, Drifting Clouds

Paris shone with radiant splendour, yet it had never offered a single quiet refuge for Eliots. As a world-renowned piano prodigy, Eliots lived upon the dizzying heights of fame, yet his soul lay hollowed by relentless pressure and isolation. That night, an unexpected failure on stage shattered the flawless facade he had struggled to maintain for twenty-two years. Fleeing the venue, he collapsed in a dark alley within the Latin Quarter, where he chanced to meet Kipukas. Kipukas was a homeless man of ethereal beauty, blessed with porcelain skin, large round obsidian eyes, and an enchanting harmonica tune. Amidst the freezing air of an autumn night, two solitary souls leaned upon one another. One stood atop the summit of worldly vanity, while the other dwelt on the margins of society; together they shed all defense, sharing a cold piece of bread and their deepest secrets. Eliots believed this to be merely a fleeting encounter, a brief dream before his departure from Paris. Yet he was blissfully unaware that Kipukas was no ordinary wanderer, and that the destiny entangling them both had long been caught in a web of terrible secrets waiting to be unveiled.
