THAREN OF ELDORIAUpdated at Dec 6, 2025, 04:31
The Kingdom of Eldoria is a vast empire divided into four districts , the Capital, the North, the South, and the East. Each district is ruled by a governor, except the Capital, where King Lucarion lives. Every district has its own army and commander, but the supreme Commander General Aquinious serves directly under the king.
Eldoria faced countless enemies and endless wars. King Lucarion desperately needed an heir, but his wife Queen Nerithia could not bear a child. Their marriage was arranged by his father, and the king never truly loved her.
In secret, Lucarion fell in love with a beautiful maiden named Avelora. When Avelora became pregnant, Queen Nerithia tried to have her killed. Avelora escaped to the East District, where she gave birth to and raised Tharen.
Queen Nerithia and General Aquinious later became intimate so she can have children for the king
Growing up in the East, Tharen became known for his incredible speed and strength. Despite his humble life, he was unbeaten in combat among his peers. His mother never told him who his father was, but he carried the same birthmark as the king.
Tharen had two close friends:
Arion , fun-loving, food-obsessed, and terrible with a sword.
Miraelis is beautiful, skilled in combat, and secretly in love with Tharen, though he only saw her as a friend.
The three often got into trouble together, mostly because of Arion.
Meanwhile, King Lucarion and Queen Nerithia eventually had twins children:
Prince Zareth, proud and cruel, eager to inherit the throne.
Princess Vanyra, engaged to Prince Orren of Avalon to prevent war between their kingdoms.
One day, while shopping for his mother in the capital market, Tharen accidentally bumped into Princess Vanyra, who was fleeing from palace guards. He helped her escape, and from that moment, they fell in love. They continued to meet in secret until Miraelis, jealous and hurt, reported them to Governor Marenos of the East District.
Tharen was captured and imprisoned, where he met Tiberion and Malrick, two skilled warriors. He was later sent to the Capital to fight in the OVO Arena against one of the king’s strongest gladiators and won. Impressed, King Lucarion made him one of his personal guards.
During a mission to the North District, Tharen took an arrow to the chest while saving the king’s life, the attack was planned by General Aquinious. The king grew fond of him, treating him like a son. This made Prince Zareth, Queen Nerithia, and Commander Aquinious angry and filled with envy. They tried to killed tharen but he came out victorious .
Tharen and Princess Vanyra continued their love in secret within the palace. Rumors spread quickly, reaching Prince Orren of Avalon. Furious, he warned King Lucarion that their affair could lead to war and demanded Tharen’s death.
Unwilling to kill him but desperate to avoid war, the king demoted Tharen and sent him to a distant war camp, far from Vanyra. Despite the distance, they exchanged secret letters.
When Avelora learned what happened, she went to the palace. King Lucarion was shocked to see her , and heartbroken when he realized Tharen was his son. He kept it secret, believing the kingdom’s peace came first.
Years passed. Tharen became a brilliant commander, winning many battles. His victories reached the king’s ears, who promoted him to Head Commander of his camp.
But then, a dark secret came to light: Commander Aquinious was caught while trying to kill the king in his sleep, he confessed he had been Queen Nerithia’s lover for years, and that her children, Zareth and Vanyra, were his. Enraged, Prince Zareth stabbed Aquinious to death. The king ordered Zareth imprisoned for murder. Overcome with guilt, Queen Nerithia took her own life, leaving Vanyra devastated.
The king, grieving yet compassionate, made Avelora the new Queen of Eldoria. Upon learning that King Lucarion no longer had a daughter to marry, Prince Orren of Avalon declared war on Eldoria.
At the war camp, Tharen learned of the war and his mother’s new title. That night, his camp was attacked by enemy forces — an assault planned by Avalon. Tharen’s army won, but at a terrible cost, losing many men, including his friend Tiberion.
Knowing full war was coming, Tharen returned to Eldoria with his army. In an emotional reunion, the king revealed the truth: Tharen was his son.
Tharen married Princess Vanyra shortly after, fearing he might die in the coming war. The king then made him the new Commander General of Eldoria.
The war between Eldoria and Avalon lasted two years. Tharen led the armies with unmatched courage. In the final battle, despite being struck by an arrow, he fought on and led the assault that breached Avalon’s gates. Prince Orren was killed, and Eldoria triumphed.
As the people celebrated, Tharen collapsed from his wounds and died. He was buried with royal honor, remembered forever as the warrior who became a legend.
Later, Princess Vanyra gave birth to a son and named him Tharen, after his heroic father.
