I sometimes write dark romance with tragic endings, or short light romance sprinkled with sweet endings.
I have a lot of draft stories that I didn’t bother to publish because I wrote them on a whim, and partly because I forgot why I wrote it. :\'D
"Sacrifices must be done, my child. It's a Queen must do. You need to destroy all obstacles that blocks your way into the stairs of being a great leader, and he is an obstacle. He is your weakness. He will be your greatest downfall."
A new Queen was born, and the kingdom rejoiced in happiness filling their hearts with newfound hope. Her smile lightened the whole kingdom in their darkest day. Slowly eliminating the doubts that lingers in their hearts after all those years of being scared in the dark.
They cannot wait for their Savior to grow and save them.
While in the other land, a boy was found by an old couple near the rumored forest. They smiled at the sky, thanking the heavens for granting their wish for giving them a child that will be spoiled with all the love that they'll give.
The church was in pure chaos when the High Priestess collapsed and shared the news about the new prophecy that will end everything.
The young girl looks at the High Priestess with an innocent look at her face. The High Priestess heart slowly shatters when the girl gave her a smile, but she must do it. For the greater good.
"I will vow to you, Princess, my guidance and knowledge to help you navigate the world, to help you make the right decisions until you're old enough, but until then do enjoy your childhood for it doesn't last long."
A ghost girl trying her best to be noticed by her “friend” who’s constantly visiting her unknowingly.
Nights after nights of visits.
Nights after nights of being ignored.
Nights after nights of watching him slowly wither.
Nights after nights of feeling helpless.
“I’m here with you. Can you please look at me for once? Smile at me and say that you know my presence beside you, cheering for you, trying my best to make you feel less lonely.” she sobbed as she tried to touch him but just like the wind, it only breezes by. “I love you.”
Have you seen a mermaid who defied her nature just to be with the man she loves?
Sacrifice everything just so she could touch him for only a moment.
Stay with him even in the brink of death?
I do. Isn't her name, Ariel?
Mermaids. Aren't they precious? Gifted with a beautiful voice, and a heart full of love to give.
What a lucky person they must be that a mere mermaid sacrifices everything they have just so they could pursue the love so impossible to commit?
Aside from her.
She only wants to feel the energetic blood rush in her veins, watch some drunken fight in a tavern, and cause some mischief to see some argument break out.
And then there's this lonely pirate. Who only have nothing but his precious ship and the ocean so deep just like the love he yearned so much but cannot have. He travelled many islands, found treasures that can satisfy his greed, yet he still feel like something is lacking.
And that was love.
Love.
"Does that even exist?" he whispered in the wind as he silently watch the moon.
From the below, the mermaid heard him and she silently watches him, strange feeling growing inside her heart.
Love?
"You defied your family, your own kind, and you defied nature. You succumbed to something forbidden, Ellia."
I know that it was forbidden, but how can I resist the temptation to be wild and free? To know what real love is? To escape reality even for just mere seconds, it will be enough.
I forgot that there are consequences too.
Siaran is a woman who does not like people. She likes to do things alone, and doesn’t care if she feels lonely because apparently people drains her out.
“Furry creatures can help me make me feel less lonely, so fuck off!“ she screamed at the man that tried to befriend her.
Yeah... she have a foul mouth too. Another problem why she doesn't have suitors.
On the other hand, we have Helios.
Just Helios.
Nobody really knows him, or even if he existed in the first place. Even I don't know.
Who's he anyways?
Is it Siaran's imaginary friend? Did her brain finally succumb to the reality that Siaran needs friends?
Well, sad for her.
