SYNOPSIS
There is a thin line that separates friendship and romantic relationships, which can be sometimes blurry but Ayanah Faith Queroh can see that clearly.
Ayanah is in love with his childhood best friend, Jasper Khonon Tan since she can remember. Well, they grow up together and spend most of their time together. Watching him get through his teenage years, liking girls, and dating throughout high school was no fun and is pure torture. Safe to say, she spent her single years in long-term ache and busied herself in composing songs, she plays guitar as a hobby, and her melodies are inspired by her unspoken feelings.
Realizing that he was hopelessly in love with Jasper isn’t easy but Ayanah’s world turns upside down when Jasper introduces his new girlfriend, Shanti, to their circle of friends. Despite her overwhelming disappointment, Ayanah remains supportive, concealing her true emotions behind a mask of friendship.
“Between the Lines” explores the journey of unrequited love, the power of music as a cathartic expression, and the delicate balance between friendship and romance. It highlights the importance of open communication and taking risks to pursue love, even in the face of potential heartache.
