In the more than a century, since Vezdel last set foot in the land, his parents intended him to rule. Many things have changed. As a result of a treacherous king, his old flame, and his cousin, he has no desire to return to a land that has forced him to question everything he has ever known. But when he is summoned to the castle of Visimin for a talk with the royals regarding their young son, everything he thought he knew about his lineage comes into question.
