Young woman is thrown out into a world she has never experienced, and discovers her "agri-science" is actually witchcraft. She learns the hard way that good and bad are not necessarily the only choices, but that all actions have consequences. She also deals with the actions of the people who raised her, and the nature of their actions as well.
