The Queen of the Night
Updated at Sep 1, 2022, 01:15
Ex cop and Queen of the Werewolves- Andrea DeLuca, is about to embark on her biggest adventure yet. Leaving no stone unturned she is determined to start a war with her vicious brother in law who has captured her mate- Axel. Will she take her new found powers too far and lose everything? "What do you mean it will consume me?" I asked impatiently, I was so sick and tired of being talked about as if I wasn't in the room. "Dark magic consumes witches like a leech. It starts off small and then spreads through you like the plague. There's no stopping or controlling it, you'll eventually just be evil for evils sake. When a witch comes into her own were sworn to be the keepers of the balance- and there are consequences when that doesn't happen." Aunt Sophia flashed a quick glance at my mother as she spoke of the last part. I know my mom's track record wasn't great but I couldn't help but wonder what else she had dabbled in. My mind started to wander back to the sad tale Caesar had told me about his wife, a shiver ran down my spine thinking of how the darkness had taken her. "Whatever is happening to you, we need to find out how to stop it before the power consumes you. I've never heard of this kind of thing before in all my years as the head witch-but I know someone who's memory goes back a bit further than mine." She continued. "Well that's a start, just call them up lets get some answers." Cora was so naïve, I understood exactly who would have the answers... "It doesn't work like that Cora, we need to contact the gods. They created us all and wound our destiny's together, only they will have the answers." The mood turned in an instant as the hairs on my back began to stand up, they were the very beings I wanted gone and now I had to ask for their help? This wasn't going to be pretty. "I know this wasn't the answer you wanted, but we have to do this. Perhaps putting everyone's differences aside will ease some tension." My mother spoke softly to me, but I wasn't convinced they would be helpful at all. In fact I was almost certain they would relish the fact I needed their help when my end game was destroy them all- irony at it's best *NOTE* This is book two in "the Don's Daughter" Series. This book is only available on Dreame.

The Don's Daughter

(COMPLETED) “Why are you staring at me?” I asked him. “Oh, sorry I umm, I’m just not used to women being so strong around this mafia business. They usually faint or cry.” I let out a chuckle “I’ve never met anyone quite like you Andrea, I think you’re going to be a great Queen.” I looked at him taken a back by his answer, maybe I was cut out for this after all. I gave him a soft smile in return for his compliment. I was generally speaking a fairly awkward person, I was used to being invisible and now I feel like a spotlights just been shone on my life. I didn’t take compliments well normally. But I have to admit I was feeling more confident than usual. My thoughts were interrupted by the cabin crew, letting us know we were departing soon. I looked up at the air hostess realising it was someone different from earlier, I guess she clocked out. We fastened our seatbelts as instructed and the plane took off, I had just began to flick through the movies again when I heard a “click” next to my head. “Don’t move.” Said the air hostess as she held the cold hun to my temple, I looked up at Rory who’s eyes were wide. The rest of the crew entered from behind her all holding guns up to us. It was 8 vs 2 and they were armed. “What is it you want? Money?” I asked the hostess looking at her from under my lashes. Although her face was stern her hand was shaking, telling me she was afraid.
