Ruby is an eighteen year old high school student who\'s tired of a painful life, and plans to take it. James is a twenty-five year old high school teacher who\'s tired of a dreary life, and plans to take it. Their meeting on the day they planned to leave this world is no coincidence, and neither are all the events that take place afterwards, forcing a bond they both try to fight. But how can they fight the only thing to breathe air into their oxygen deprived lungs? A whirlwind of drugs, violence, and death surrounds Ruby- one she desperately tries to keep James away from. In order to protect her, James gets sucked into her world, only to find that she has an agonizing addiction and past due to her father who is a drug lord.
