I am a teaching faculty and a counselor therapist. I started my career with an educational institution in Haryana 2decade ago . I was sharing the living hall with 20 students . After school working hours , I have to play the role of mentor for them to play and to assist them in completing the homework assignments. In the course of the time I adapted my my life style and learnt the cultural aspects of the people of Haryana. After one year stint I got an opportunity to join a new educational institution in Andhra pradesh. This institution had boarders and day scholars . Teaching staff had a separate wing and total personal space. After making an impression on the mindset of the students through teaching and OT skills which I showcasing brought me to land on the position of a principal of a new academic institution in the nascent stage. After a decade when I was compelled to return back to Bangalore city, I was chosen by a German mental health institution to undergo course in psychotherapy cum counseling. It was a community comprising of the clients with various psychosomatic ailments. It was a challenging experience to work with clients. Thereafter after the course I became a counselor for students and parents in an educational institution. Later on through my efforts I was chosen by an NGO working for deaddiction and HIV positive people rehabilitation as a coordinator/ counselor/ therapist. Two years stint with NGO ,was hectic with tight schedule. Hence I switched over to work with educational institution again for working as a principal/ administrator/ counselor and teacher too..Now with the advent of covid 19 since March 2020 till date, the sign of normalcy returning back looks bleak . Hence am looking for alternative profession in writing..as I have contributed to English newspaper as a free Lance writer..
