17-year-old, Raelyn, was sent, by her uppity mother, to the mental hospital after she was found over her sister’s dead body and covered in her blood. The death was ruled a suicide, but her mother used the trauma, Raelyn experienced, as an excuse to “get rid of her”. Upon being released from the mental hospital, Raelyn tries to go back to her normal life as a high school student, despite being the talk of the school and their small town of Wellspring. Her parents are the most known and richest people in their town; her father being a politician, is constantly in the limelight of the media. Because of this, Raelyn’s “reputation” embarrasses them, and they spend their days verbally and mentally abusing her, leaving her in a world of depression and despair. One day everything changed. Raelyn woke up to find that nobody remembered who she was. Her parent’s acted as if they never met her, her friends didn’t recognize her, and there was no record of her at school or the mental hospital. What was even weirder, was that her sister was ALIVE. A terrified Raelyn goes to the police station and tells them what happened; they only laughed and turned her away, claiming that her family only had one daughter and Raelyn wasn’t her. As she leaves the police station she meets a guy on a motorcycle, who appeared to be a few years older than her. He tells her that he’s been watching her, and the same thing happened to him. He explains how there are others like them and that he wants to take her to them. So, Raelyn hops on his motorcycle and he takes her to an underground hideaway where other kids around their age were hanging out. They claimed that they all had the same dream where Raelyn calls to them and tells them to meet them at the hideaway, but Raelyn has no memory of that, nor has she ever met them before. As time goes on, Raelyn begins to learn things about herself that she never dreamt would be possible. She learns she isn’t who she thought she was, and her memories of her true home and her real family have been taken from her. Raelyn and the others were sent to this world for a reason and it’s up to them to figure out what that reason was and return home. To their true home.
