The woman in the mask is a back dated fictional story detailing the events of Aurora Smith who is eighteen years of age life, it is set in 1903 when the first phone box was invented and implemented within a public setting, Aurora is engaged to be married to a man named Jackson Martel who is the son of a wealthy pastor Who she has not met in person and will only be able to physically meet on their wedding day, within this story Aurora comes to a self discovery that she does not want to engage in any romantic dealings with a man. Aurora has a weight on her shoulders that she should make her mother proud and continue with this engagement despite her pain in doing so. Aurora has a rebellious spirit deep within her that leads her to often sneak out of the house and visit the docks despite the sense of danger it is Associated with , within the three weeks leading up to her wedding , Aurora catches the attention of a masked figure that follows her and sends her gifts , Aurora is confused by this and seeks to find the identity of this person who stalks her by putting herself in danger and roaming the streets at night time to draw them out. After having conversed with her fiancé for the first time Aurora is sickened by his attitude towards women and is surprised when in a few days time she receives a call from the woman in the mask , surprised by the gender of her stalker Aurora plunges into a scandal that could lead her family to doom as she begins to Acquire feelings for this woman whose identity she does not know, five days before Auroras wedding she engages in a sexual encounter with this woman and begins to fall in love with a face she cannot see , with the continued pressure from her mother and society to be a woman of chaste and holiness she breaks away from her secret lover and prepares for her big day , however the morning of auroras wedding , she is stolen , in fact her lover has taken it upon herself to take Aurora away on the mysterious boat she had encountered weeks before at the dock ,saving her from a life of unhappiness ,but with the masked woman’s actions Aurora is sent into a feeling of uncertainty as she is forbidden from leaving ever again , she is trapped , yet Auroras feelings are gradually won over and she finds herself in a whirlwind of lust and betrayal as she delves into feelings she had never experienced before , such as love , sex , and submission. Aurora then faces a decision, does she abandon true love and fulfil her responsibilities? Or will she flee from the soldiers and search parties sent for her in the name of love.
