In the years of 2400 earth is a very harsh and hostile place. Overgrown forests and jungles cities have gone from cities to just buildings and roads covered in vines and grass, the seas have overtaken the west and east coasts of the United States and there's no telling how bad other countries have become. Among the overgrown nature is the fighting between bases that have sheltered refugees since the chaos started, and rebels who question where these bases suddenly came from and who started them. Although the shelter of these bases housed and saved many lives, they are military run and operated in a way that is most unusual, but they follow the guidance of no president or king. Samantha has to find out the truth of how the world came to be in this chaotic state.
