Natalie’s whole life never felt like hers. Being a result of her mother’s illicit affair, she was always looked down upon. Nova is chosen to attend the Interstellar Academy. While the school has been around for hundreds of years and allows many different beings from many different planets to attend. Nova is 1 of 20 humans chosen to go, the first time humans are allowed to enroll. She meets all kinds of beings, however, she gains the attention of a popular General’s son by the name of Rhenar from the planet Seraya. Nova in an attempt to remain somewhat invisible does in fact run into situations that have the opposite effect. She confronts bullies, corrects teachers about her planet, and unfortunately and without meaning to; beats Rhenar’s time in the obstacle course. He finds her beautiful, courageous and kind hearted, as well as annoying, clumsy and hotheaded. She is also human a weak species who by accident thrives on a death world. A few months after the semester starts, a string of murders happens, and unfortunately the evidence does point to human involvement and Nova while trying to survive day to day life now with the help of her “enemy” figure out just who is committing these killings and why. How will Nova and Rhenar cope? Will they put their differences aside and make way for understanding? And when will Rhenar ask to touch Nova’s hair?!
