Goodnight Castle is a historical romance novel about Daisy Finch Goodnight, a plain, impoverished, twenty-six-year-old woman who inherited from the late Earl of Lynforth. She went to Ravenwood Castle to meet other goddaughters of the Earl and found out that they had to marry a titled gentleman within a year to inherit a sum of money. Daisy was excited about the challenge until she realized that her competitors were already titled ladies with different personalities. She met William, the grumpy and intimidating owner of the castle, who did not like the contest and saw it as a way to buy his goddaughter's loyalty. As Daisy got to know William and the other goddaughters, she found love in the most unexpected person and discovered that the contest was not what it seemed.
