Adrian is an ordinary teen , a bit of a loner, a bit depressed. He and his only friend Liz, are broken by the hand they were dealt. Both feeling they could easily be forgotten if they were to disappear. That is until Adrian finds out he has the power to open a rift to another dimension, crash landing in a neon lit underworld. In this other world everything is much slower, which in turn, heightens Adrian's abilities making him superhuman. He bring his friend Liz with him and it becomes their new playground. They are practically gods. But what happens when unlimited power isn't enough? When does one's humanity end and their immortality begin? What does one hope for next when they have everything they've every wanted? What is a god without a devil, a hero without a villain?

Inez and four other "Forgotten" from "The Quarry" are released from prison, handpicked by a collection of lords from the kingdom. Their debts, crimes, and/or bastard status are paid for under the guise that they entertain them. They are forced to infiltrate the kingdom with their new aliases and commit foul acts against the morally corrupt and corroding kingdom, all for the lords' pleasure for chaos. Acts ranging from meddling in royal affairs to murder. The five forgotten all have their reasons for being picked. However, the lords underestimate Inez's witchcraft accusations. They have no idea who they just released.
