Hello, my name is April Hansen. I have always loved to write and have kept it as a hobby most of my life. Along with writing, drawing, and tattooing I also create designs that I upload to an e-commence shop through redbubble under the name of Broken Arrow Ink. I wanted to read a story and found Dreame, later discovering I could also publish my own stories. Taking a chance here we go, I hope you will enjoy them as much as I enjoyed writing them. I write fictional stories; and tend to bounce around in several genres. Normally I start with ideas with a pen and paper, as it grows, I transfer it over to the computer. "I am a writer, not an editor." I will admit I use the tools at my disposal for editing. I am sure there are some that I will miss. Probably some I keep in due to the way a character speaks or is. I plan on taking the old stories I have written and publishing them here, along with new ones. There is one book I published years ago on smashwords, it is a theory book that I did not set a charge on it for that reason. And probably will not move that one over here for the same reason. A little about me. I am a wife and mother living in Nebraska, which in some stories I will us Nebraska as a setting. I have two children that I am very proud of, my daughter also writes. Guess that apple didn't fall far from the tree. My little boy while too young to write loves stories. While I was in high school, I actually was published a couple of times for poetry. When I am not at my actual job, I am always working on something. Even if it looks like I am not my brain is still working on things. Which drives my husband nuts, but he admires my determination and encourages me to continue to work towards a career I would love. Along with the hobbies I enjoy. I also have fur and feathered babies that do their best to distract or keep me company when I am working at home. In the long run sometimes, I lose track of time while working and they remind me to take a break. I would love it if my writing, arts and tattooing could become my regular career. That way I can be one of the few who can say if you do what you love you are never working. I have been considered a jack of all trades because of the different jobs I held, learning quite a bit along the way. I put myself through college as a single mom at the time working at a local fast-food restaurant. Until I met my second husband, the father of my youngest. Becoming a stay-at-home mom towards the end of my pregnancy and graduating from college with an associate degree in business administration. When our son was a bit older, I went back into the work force as a secretary and have been there ever since. I hope that this will not only turn be a step to opening doors to a new bright future doing the things that I love to do. I am also featured on amazon as I am not a dreame signed author. Which turns out to be a benefit so I can place my work on other platforms also.
