This is Ella passing you by. I\'m a college girl trying her best to pave a writing career in this vast world of dreamers. I like books, films, music and anything related to Japanese culture. I am one hundred percent a Filipino though, but I like writing in English because it connects me with international readers and generally more people who might like what I like.
Nice to meet you!
Autumn finds love to be romantic as a concept. But she thinks it's superficial when it comes to herself. She works as the town librarian and is kind of a writer herself so she understood the rules of how to love, who to love and how stupid anyone can be about love. But Autumn wasn't stupid. She was smart, or at least she thought she was.
The young Lord of the Hawk family was back in town, and with him is his trusted knight, Oliver Baker. Oliver is uptight, serious and proudly a man of his word. But admittedly, he is also fed up with everything else, what with his master being too much of a troublemaker and his duties getting way ahead of his capabilities. Anything else is put out behind him like a candle put off of its light. When Sir Oliver gets tangled up with Beatrice, the woman who allegedly stole his master's heart, he ends up discovering her secret. Together they find themselves intertwined in a mess of pacts, unexpected yearnings and trouble from a nameless rouge who roamed the night of the town of High Peaks with an unquenchable thirst.
There's more to a person's life that just what you can see. Actions speaks much about who a person is, but the mind is the real part of everything that makes up someone. It's the whole identity of a person, regardless of who they are. But Margaret Miles never had the time to be heard. She was never given a time to speak about who she really is behind the definitions the people around her labeled her. Yet, it's unfortunate that that's all she ever will be even after her death. ---Margaret Miles, a 16 year old girl, died in a car accident 4 days before her awaited prom party. She had all her life planned out. She was perfect. But maybe, that was just what her parents told her and saw her to be. What was seen on the surface could be probably be the only thing left to define a girl who was never really known by anyone, not even herself.
