—-- Chapter 1 —-- *Lyla* Sitting in church listening to my father preaching, I am wondering how he can stay so focused with all the excitement of my twin brother coming home tomorrow. I can still remember how Luke and I used to pretend my dolls were getting hurt and me taking them to Dr Luke. He used to handle them with so much care. My parents always supported our dreams and when Luke came home from university one day and told us he wanted to be part of doctors without borders my Parents still supported him. Even though I could hear my mom cry for a month after he left, she still respected his decision. It's been 2 years since we last saw Luke. He was supposed to return back home after 12 months but decided to extend his time with  The band ends the sermon with one of my favorite songs and I join in with the rest of the church. There is something about that name -Anne Wilson [Verse 1] Sweeter than the morning or the sound of the rain From the mouth of the preacher and the sinner the same Tender as a whisper but loud in its refrain May it hang on my lips for the rest of my days [Chorus] There is something about the name of Jesus It sounds like forgiveness, sounds like amazing grace It beckons my soul to sing forever There's just something about that name [Verse 2] We pray it over family when we rise and when we sleep We speak it over sorrow and the soul is given peace We'll sing it in the famine or in prosperity May we never forget that He is all that we need [Chorus] There is something about the name of Jesus It sounds like forgiveness, sounds like amazing grace It beckons my soul to sing forever There's just something about that name [Bridge] There is still no other name You still have the power to save You can empty any grave Forever Jesus, it's Your name There is still no other name You still have the power to save You can empty any grave Forever Jesus, it's Your name [Chorus] There is something about the name of Jesus It sounds like forgiveness, sounds like amazing grace It beckons my soul to sing forever There's just something about that name There's just something about that name. After the sermon I joined a few friends outside at our usual spot underneath the oak tree. On my way to them I take a few minutes to appreciate them. Jenny looked pretty as always. Liam and Mikayla were holding hands even though Mikayla's parents didn't like Liam in the beginning, they started to warm up towards him. Mikayla helped Liam to get his life back on track. Then there is Diago and James. Now these two are like peas in a pot. Both of them have a pretty good sense of humor, but between them Diago is the real standup comedian. Lea is the shy girl, she is the most humble one of the group. When I think of her I think of proverbs 3:15 "She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her'' Lea is beautiful inside out.  I greeted everyone and took a seat next to Jenny on the grass. "So Lyla '' Jenny started talking, trying very hard to not have excitement in her voice and that's when I knew she wanted to ask about Luke. They were briefly dating before he left, but mutually decided to end the relationship. I remember Luke telling me he didn't feel it would be fair to ask Jenny to wait for him. Jenny hasn't dated anyone else. She told me that God already made it clear to her that Luke is the husband he wants for her. "Yes Jenny, Luke will be back home tomorrow at 10:00. I am super excited about seeing him in two years. What do you guys say about having breakfast at Nonna's on Tuesday?" I couldn't bear seeing Jenny so excited, but yet so uncertain. I figured having the whole group there would help her and Luke with their nerves. They all agreed to meet us there at nine. I also told them that Luke invited his friend to come and spend Easter with us. Mom signaled me to come and I greeted everyone as I got up. When we arrived home Mom and I went on with our usual Sunday routine. Jumping into our most comfortable clothes and watching a chick flick with popcorn, Astros and coke. Since I was 12 mom and I decided to spend Sundays like this. When Dad and Luke would come back from church they would start cooking. Dad believed that the girls needed a day off. I think it was just his way of getting me out of the kitchen and teaching Luke all the family recipes that have been passed on by all the men in dad's family. Dad continued with this tradition after Luke left, he said we have a tradition and we are sticking to it. I didn't complain because Sunday movie day with mom was one of my favorite days of the week. ******* *Tyler* Luke and I just took our seats on the plane. After my parents informed me that they decided to extend their vacation and will only return the week after Easter Luke insisted that I join his family for Easter. I was really looking forward to getting home, but Luke was so excited about having me there.
