Egede, a princess in Okpuje is the only daughter of King Okanga and Queen Akuoma ,and the only sister to Prince Ogadi ,and also the granddaughter of King Ijebu, was captured and taken along with her brother ,Ekwedike ,Ezudo,Izundu, and the rest of their warriors to Ndeagu after her parents were slaughtered without the intervention of Ejila whose priest is Odili. On the other hand ,Prince Ahanna ,the first son of King Ogbunigwe and Queen mother Achalugo and rightful heir to the throne of Ndeagu, and step son of Queen Njide and Consort Oma, warned his father to give the Okpujes access to the river ,River Ntaka . But King Ogbunigwe,under the will of Olaka the gods of Ndeagu which was conveyed by Ogwumagala went and slaughtered the King and Queen of Okpuje and taken their people as his slaves with Ikedi as his second in command But the King Ogbunigwe intention was supported by Prince Emenike ,his second son
