Ever since Wren was a child, she’s dreamt of the same man every night. Living deep in a swamp in south Louisiana, hidden away from the world where vampires co-exist with humans, Wren grows up sheltered and lonely. One night, she has a particularly steamy dream of this man and another woman. She's never seen him with anyone in her dreams before, much less a woman. She wakes up and is feeling… jealous. Her jealousy is what drives her to begin her journey in finding out who this man is based on the bits and pieces of what she knows about the man from her dreams. In this journey, she will find that the world is not as she was always taught and that this strange man is more to her than just the man of her dreams.
