The story is about Calista, a sixteen year old girl who falls in love with Duncan, a reserved seventeen year old young man who came to the live in town at the age of twelve. the two strike up a friendship but Duncan suddenly leaves town, with no explanation of where he is going. In a bid to forget Duncan, Calista takes up a quest to search for her grandfather's sunken ship. her quest leads her through siren-infested waters and eventually, to Duncan.

This story follows the adventure of Calista on her quest to find her grandfather's sunken ship, which is said to have mysteriously disappeared after being lured by sirens.
