The Map Beneath the MoonUpdated at Aug 10, 2026, 19:51
Seventeen year old Aren Vale has always felt like a stranger in his own home. Raised by his secretive grandmother after the mysterious disappearance of his parents, he has grown used to unanswered questions until a silver map appears beneath his bedroom floor.
The map is unlike anything Aren has ever seen. Its lines shift like living veins, glowing brighter whenever he touches them. At its center lies a symbol matching the strange mark on his wrist, a mark his grandmother has forbidden him to ask about.
Before Aren can discover the map’s purpose, shadowy creatures attack his village. Forced to flee, he meets Liora Nightbloom, a fierce and fearless girl who carries a silver blade and knows more about the map than she admits. Liora reveals that it leads to a hidden kingdom buried beneath the earth, a forgotten realm protected by ancient magic and threatened by a growing darkness.
Together, Aren and Liora begin a dangerous journey through enchanted forests, abandoned ruins, and underground cities. Along the way, they uncover fragments of a devastating prophecy. The sealed gate beneath the black moon will soon open, and only the lost heir of the kingdom can stop what lies beyond it.
But the closer Aren comes to the truth, the more he realizes that his family has hidden a terrible secret. His parents may not have vanished by accident, his grandmother may have betrayed the kingdom, and Aren himself may be the heir Lord Veyr has been hunting for seventeen years.
With the gate awakening and Lord Veyr’s shadow army closing in, Aren must choose between running from his past or embracing the power within him. Alongside Liora and an unlikely group of allies, he must uncover the truth before the kingdom falls and before the darkness claims him as its own.
Some maps lead to treasure. Others lead to destiny.
