The Trials: Where The Silent Ones DieUpdated at Jun 3, 2026, 03:23
In a world governed by arcane law and unspoken hierarchies, a group of young mages are summoned to undergo a sanctioned trial one meant to measure obedience, restraint, and the cost of silence. Among them is Kael, a Stillwater: rare, feared, and trained to suppress emotion, power, and impulse until nothing ripples on the surface.
The trial is not the quest it is the warning.
As magic turns inward and judgment becomes cruel, the mages are forced to confront a truth no spell can conceal: survival is not about strength, but about what one is willing to witness without acting. Bonds begin to form under pressure, some forged in fear, others in something far more dangerous.
When the trial ends, nothing is resolved only awakened.
