Divorce should have been the end. For Akpabot Divine, a celebrated Black American architect, and Olaoye Sophia, a Nigerian-American attorney, their signatures were meant to seal the distance between them. He is Christian, she is Muslim, their love once powerful enough to cross faith and culture, but fragile under the weight of ambition, pride, and unspoken expectations. Now, fate drags them back together in the city that never sleeps. Forced to work on the same Manhattan skyscraper project, old wounds reopen, but so does the fire they thought they buried.
