This story is based on true events, inspired by my mother's life. It was the early 60's when Ivy and Stan met in their hometown of southern Europe. They were young, imature and full of hope and dreams. They were so open minded but that was such shameful behavior for the standards in their town. Such a small town but so full of prejudices, conservatism, and stereotypes. Limited minds and souls full of bitterness. Such conditions were not conducive to their love, which escalated so quickly and ignited in a strong flame until it burned themselves to ashes.  Only when they were together in their arms they disconnect from reality and get them selfs free from the heavy couplings of society's condemnation and all the stress was disappearing. When they were together there was only their love, affection and only their own perfect and simple world where love was the main food and fundamental need, were present. Oh, it felt just as simple as two angels flying in  heaven. But… unfortunately, their love was not approved by their parents. All the simplicity of heaven was ruined like when a thunderstorm hit from the clear sunny skies. And that kind of love was kind of a big deal. In a society like they were raised in, they were not allowed to choose their love partners without the permission of their parents. Boyfriends before marriage was a forbidden food, and  this will send you straight to hell.
