Chapter one “It’s time!!!!!!!, ah another year waking up to my sister’s screaming. “Wake up Tyler today we might get lucky and get our mates” my sister Kelly said in her always happy voice. It was our 22nd birthday and we have still not found our mates. I think the moon Goddess forgot that she created us, by the way my twin sister and I are Alpha offspring. In a normal pack with normal rules I could have been an alpha already but nope not until I get my fated mated. I have tried to convince my father to let me choose a chosen mate so I can run the pack and he and mom can retire but unfortunately for thousands of years it has been tradition for the alpha of Starlight pack to have a mate before they can take of over. I did my business, took a shower and went off to my closet to get clothes. We finished our meal. Dave and I went to the training grounds while our siblings went to do god knows what girls do before a big bash. There on my navy blue king sized bed was a suit cover which had my tux in it my room was decorated in shades of blue and grey, had a grey couch near the window leading to the balcony. My tv was mounted on the wall opposite my bed. I opened the sliding door leading to my bathroom. It was decorated in gold and white and I kinder liked it. I quickly jumped into the shower waited till the water turned warm and started showering. I kept thinking about my mate and how she would look. I finished and got dressed in my charcoal tuxedo. I looked at my reflection. I was a splitting image of my mom. With ink black hair and icy blue eyes and and olive skin. Kelly took my dad’s red curly hair with grey eyes and a painfully pale skin tone.
