Rin is just another normal student at the International Academy of magic and elements. An academy that is specially designed for mages. While some find their future in this academy, some get their dreams destroyed with a slap of reality. Rin is clearly the type of student that belongs to the latter case. Everyone who saw him knew this. Some felt pity for the boy in the wheelchair who tried so hard even after knowing that his future was doomed while others were glad to see the boy suffer. In the final year element test, everyone expected him to get a colorless orb, and just as they had guessed, that was exactly what he got, or at least, that was what everyone thought that he had got. After failing to master any element, Rin was expelled from the academy and stayed silent for more than three years. Nobody knew where he had disappeared off to and nobody cared to find out. When the planet was being attacked by a race called the exarius, it was only natural that nobody remembered a boy called Rin who used to travel around in his wheelchair. He was supposed to be just one of those faceless side characters that gain no attention from anyone. The one that gets forgotten easily... So how come... How come this wheelchaired boy became the greatest mage the world had ever seen?!
