Nylah is a wolf without a pack. Her previous pack was attacked when she was only 5 years old and it was completely razed to the ground, including everyone in it. However, Nylah was not at the pack grounds when it happened. She was out exploring the woods along with her mother, the pack Luna, when her mother suddenly received a mind link. Nylah still remembers it clear as day. She looked up at her mother, who had suddenly stopped mid-sentence. Her mothers' eyes glossed over as so many times before and her expression stiffened, until it changed into that of pure terror. Before any of them could even utter a word, Nylah was immediately shoved into some dense bushes, and her mother hissed at her to stay put until she, or her father came for her. She waited and stayed completely still, just like her daddy had taught her to do. She waited until the sun started to disappear and darkness enveloped the forest. A mist started to creep up on the forest floor, and it was starting to get really cold. Yet she still faithfully waited for her parents to come. Only they never did. She was alone. Abandoned. Forsaken. Nylah has lived as an orphan ever since that fateful day. She was often given up on for one reason or another, ending up a new place after only a couple of years. She always felt out of place, and at the age of 15, when another family yet again didn't want her, she ran. If everyone would abandon her, she would abandon them before anyone could do that to her ever again. But what does a young and lone wolf do, with only her stubbornness and memory of what once was, alone in the world, forsaken by everyone and everything?
