Forbidden is about two young African-American lovers who had to face a lot of challenges due to their contrast in belief, background, religion and above all, they differ in their social class "Hierarchy". Society has gotten to a state whereby only the rich wants to mingle with the wealthy, while the lower class just have to maintain their lane. There is no in-between, it is either you fit in or you are left out. Love has turned into such a cheap word that anybody could use. Everyone says it, but only a few mean it. It is even harder to fall in love in a society where tribalism, nepotism and racism are at their peak. Each time they try to resolve their problems and let love lead, it usually takes an ugly turn.
