The play, The price of honesty focuses on a family who though living in an object poverty holds honesty as a priceless virtue. When an opportunity for deliverance opens for them, the reader is put on suspense to find out whether they would grab it, eagerly, source nothwithstanding.First the child, Ayei is tested as to whether he would tell his parents about the money; secondly, his parent's decision is also not guaranteed. And at the other end, there is his friend, Oyo who knows about the whole situation. The decision taken could mean the end of hopes for Ayei's family or the renewal.This suitable play is an interesting read for all lovers of drama.
