"I have every right!" He snapped, standing up and coming face to face with me.
"I left my entire life behind to be with you and you just left! Do you know how long I spent looking for you? How much I blamed myself for you leaving? The embarrassment I had having to return to Hell to take up my rightful position- the same position that I abandoned just to be with you?"
His voice was strong, but seemed as though it was on the verge of breaking. A part of me wanted to comfort him, but the majority of me still had questions and I wasn't fully convinced. Then, he closed his eyes and spoke gently.
"And now I have to take you to my father."
